Harrison House of Hope

Day Center for the Homeless

Harrison House of Hope is a day center for the homeless in Boone County, Arkansas. We do not have facilities to house clients at night.

Individuals who seek assistance from a homeless day center do so because of a wide variety of circumstances. They may have recently lost their home, their job, or their transportation. Many others have lived on the streets for years without support from family or friends. Our clients are often in crisis mode and are experiencing the lack of income they require to support themselves and
their families.

Regardless of the circumstance or need, anyone who comes to a day center is in the midst of the most difficult time of their life.

Harrison House of Hope assists clients with goals that they may become emotionally,
intellectually, and financially independent.

We provide clients with basic needs, emergency assistance, help them obtain identification, individualized case management, employment, and housing.

Our day center offers care and compassion throughout every phase of assistance. We strive to help our clients restore their quality of life and increase their confidence.

The Harrison City Council awarded the HOPE Continuum a 30 year lease on our current building for the sum of $1.00 per year.

We opened our doors on July 9, 2012. We served 386 clients the first year.
